Our Gen Z guest, Morgan McCarver, is an author and gifted ceramic artist. As a child, she suffered from scoliosis which ended her future dreams of being a dancer. Her mom signed her up for a pottery class which became her love and profession. Her back surgery moved her to depend on God and grow in her faith. She has written a book relating many aspects of pottery to believers' relationships with God.
She went through a season of loneliness during Covid, when she moved to a new State. Once again, this trial drew her closer to the Lord. He used her work with clay to teach her many lessons and help her through the trials.
