Marriage isn't just for mere companionship; God intends our marriages to thrive! However in the daily mundane, working on your marriage can be the last thing on your mind. This lack of intention can cause couples to slowly drift apart. Leslie and her husband have a marriage ministry called Heart Call, where they encourage couples to reconnect in God-honoring ways.
Leslie strongly believes that as long as the Holy Spirit dwells within us, we will be consistently sanctified by the Holy Spirit to dissolve habits that may be harmful to our marriage. Since the sanctification process lasts a lifetime, it is simultaneously necessary to be understanding toward our spouse's weaknesses. Remember, the beauty of marriage is that our spouse may possess qualities that we do not, and vice versa. Our differences sharpen one another.
