Do you ever feel stagnant and unfulfilled, like you aren't using all the gifts and talents God has given you? There was a time when today's guest Carrie Baker felt the same way. With the all-encompassing tasks of a working mom, she felt too busy managing to her primary responsibilities to tune in with herself and develop the skills to cultivate more for God. Sometimes, we shy away from using our God-given talents because we are believing the enemy's lies about us. When we get to the place of searching and seeking, God calls us back to Himself and to our purpose.
We must resist, however, the temptation to falsely conflate sewing the seeds of talent with striving. God desires for us to sew what He has entrusted us with. So whatever season of life you are in, whether you have been entrusted with much or with little, say YES to maximizing all you have for God's glory. At the end of the day, we all desire to hear the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant," from our Heavenly Father at the end of this life.
