Author Angela’s love for Italy began when she and her husband went to Italy on their honeymoon. The country captivated her, and became the inspiration behind a work of fiction Angela began to write set in Tuscany. To authenticate her characters, she decided to take another trip to a tiny Tuscan town. It was there, off the beaten path, that Angela experienced unprecedented inspiration and creativity.

She and her husband purchased a renovation property in that town, where they eventually discovered that their new home was so run-down it needed to be demolished before it could be rebuilt and refurbished.

Angela asserts that in the same way buildings need strong foundations, people do too. Sometimes when we have built false identities for ourselves and realities around faulty truths, God must demolish the root of the lies In order to erect a spiritual foundation within us that He Himself designed.
